If you thought supercars only came from Japan, Italy or America, you are wrong. Like many things, New Zealanders (or "Kiwis" as we are more commonly known) have done a lot of things that were said that couldn't be done. We climbed Mount Everest and made four blockbuster movies and now we are giving Ferrari and Lamborghini a run for thier money.

Introducing the NZ Supercars Hulme F1, NZ's own 300kph+ supercar.

Yes ash, they are sold to customers. The F1 has been in production for about three years now with around three hundred built.

this is the first time i've heard of it. i must say it looks impressive. Hulme (pronounced "Hulm")

from Wikipedia:
The Hulme F1 is an expected sports car manufactured by New Zealand boutique company SupercarsNZ. Its name is taken after 1967 Formula One World Champion, the New Zealander Denny Hulme. It is powered by a 5.0 litre V8 sourced from the BMW M5 and produces 450 hp (340 kW). However, mated to a 2,643 lb (1,199 kg) weight gives it a power-to-weight ratio of 5.9 lb (2.7 kg) per hp.

No offence but as nice as this car is, I have to disagree with it being a "Ferrari Basher". A Ferrari customer who has the intent to buy a Ferrari would not consider this car. However, a F1 (Or whatever you all it) customer who would probally consider a Ferrari over this car.

I think ill treat it more of a Arial Atom Basher since it has a roof and windscreen lol.

Hideous, but then again so are F1 cars. Function over form, I guess.

Hmmm.... now it claims to have a 600hp Chevy LS7. I'd say that puts this in the same range as the Ultima GTR (if it ever gets built).
