Maple 30X (codename GK-1) is a variant of the Gleagle EX3, to be provided mainly to ride-hailing/car sharing fleets such as Geely's Caocao. Produced by Fengsheng Automobile (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. in Rugao, Jiangsu, the Maple 30X is be powered by a 70 kW motor. The car is compliant with Kandi's "QBEX" battery exchange technology (it has a lateral slide-out "floor"), by virtue of which batteries can be swapped at a QBEX-enabled station under 90 seconds.
The resurrected Maple (枫叶 fengye instead of the old 华普 huapu) brand comes with a new logo as well.
From the above article, it seems that Maple is going to effectively replace Gleagle, as there are some more Maple products planned. Contrary to what I learned earlier, the Maple 30X could be made available to general consumers (also considering the list of features provided) in place of the Gleagle EX3 at some future date, however this version will not be equipped with battery-swap tech.
