On 18th March, the ceremony of Gonow new SUV off line was hold in Gonow Auto Dongying base. The chairman Mr. Miao Xuezhong, the city government leader and all Dongying base workers enjoy this excited time. The new SUV means Gonow will strive to middle and high level SUV market, it means Gonow group change his products configuration and step into a new develop period.
This new SUV was designed and researched by Gonow Auto R&D department, it was base on the international advanced standard and research procedure and has used lots of the newest science and technology from the world. The special and luxury design was based on Audi Q7, it equipped with new luxury configuration, for example, Electric ABS+EBD, intelligent automatic A/C, five doors remote control, automatic un-glitz Rear View Mirror, large screen DVD and so on. The body is using saloon car anti-collision structure design with side doors beams and high strength armor plate. It can equip with double air bag and pre-warning seat belts. It uses 4G69 gasoline engine, and reach Euro Ⅳ+OBD standard. It also can use diesel HPCR GA4D25TCI engine and reach Euro Ⅲ+OBD standard and the fuel consumption is less than 7L/100km.
The specialist said Gonow new SUV open a new beginning in 2009 for SUV market in China. Finally, What surprise will this new product brings, let’s wait and have a look.

And, in the fall of 2007, motorauthority.com reported that Bertone was talking to Gonow about assembling CKDs of both the SUV and the Troy pickup in Italy. I heard nothing further about it though.
