After a recent reorganization of Yancheng, this Guangzhou Auto subsidiary entered a joint venture with Hino Motors, for the production and sale of commercial vehicles. Hino happens to be a subsidiary of Toyota which is another joint venture partner of Guangzhou Auto.

The eight year old joint venture between Guangzhou Auto and Isuzu (bus) is said to be going to end in the first half of this year.
