Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

very nice high class sedans from great wall, i hope that they will put there somekind powerful engine with 200 hp
Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

C70: The front face is too exaggerated! (maybe I haven't not seen the real one?) I don't like the taillight.
C50: It's cute.
Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

C70 has a face only a mother could love but the rest is well resolved and I could easily see it selling in Australia.

C50 very mainstream design I could also seeing it sell in Australia but I dislike the rear end looks like a 1990s Opel Omega.
Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

i don't like c50 while c70 is very good on the front face but the others part of the car looks anynomous.

Hmmm... The similarities are obvious (doors, position of the fuel cap, window lines and wing mirrors).

Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

Wow younoticed it too huh? I didn't want to be the one to mention it but yeah they are similar. Not to mention the dashboard design.

I think gwm did a pretty good job disguising this car as a non clone. Now I'm thinking if the other suv is actually derived from the c-rv hehe
Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

at least they change interior, front and rear lights and other, with florid and coolbear they didn't change anything...so it's a big step for them :D , i just wait when somebody will notice that...
Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

Great Wall is big enough to develop a car on its own. Chery, Geely, ChangAn en Jianghuai (JAC) have shown they can do that, now it's time for BYD and Great Wall. I think that it's crucial for their export plans to Europe and North America.
Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

The rear tail lights of the C70 kinda reminds me of the ones used in Nissan Teana!:D

These new sedans look really nice!:thumb:

Re: Great Wall Voleex C50

Great Wall is on the right track....
But where have I seen those lovebird taillights before?
And anyone willing to comment on the exterior mirror mounting choice?

In which way? Like all previous products (maybe except for the Voleex C30 and what about the upcoming Haval H6?) it's a clone of a Toyota, Honda or Isuzu, this time the Honda Civic.
Re: Great Wall Voleex C50

Cloning of the Fiat Panda and others not withstanding, I think Great Wall has made a successful transition from being merely another manufacturer, among the gang of light truck manufacturers in China. Although the cloning has the potential to get them in trouble in foreign markets, they also have made headway at marketing their products in places like Italy, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and South Africa. At the same time they have set up assembly plants in at least eleven countries. And they are doing a good job of promoting their brand in events such as the Dakar Rally. Now let's see if in their next generation of models, they can make the transition to their own IPR.
Re: Great Wall Voleex C50

Great Wall is definitely one of the most promissing Chinese brand, along with Byd and Chery.

Yet, their sedan are quite dull.
Re: Great Wall C70 & C50

Clone of the previous generation Nissan Teana. Very disappointing to see Great Wall and BYD don't get rid of their bad habits. Great Wall has shown with the Voleex C30 and Haval H6 they can at least design original cars.
