Hey guys, I am curious as how the JVs in China, for example, FAW & VW, work. On one side, some people who aint too "fond" of Chinese cars point that the JVs simply allow the Chinese manufactures to "steal" foreign car tech and designs. But, I tend to disagree. I think the JVs are actually hurting domestic Chinese manufactures, since once manufactures such as NAIC or FAW start to make a lot of money from their production of foreign cars, there will be less of incentive for them, the FAWs of China, to develop their own brands of cars.
