Do you see many chinese cars in Russia now, Vladimir?
Are you from Moscow?
Yes, I'm from Moscow.
In Moscow I see Great Wall trucks 1 or 2 times a day (of couse not in the center of city, but around, in suburbs). For a new brand it's good result. But I also see SS Rexton 1 or 2 times a day too, but Rexton has stated to sell only 1-2 months ago and it's minimum 2 times more expensive.
I also saw Hover - but only 1 time - yesterday. Very goodlooking car
And also saw Chery Tiggo 1 time. Chery Tiggo is quite expensive and it has no 4x4. So it's better to buy Hover 4x4, than Tiggo 4x2 now.
The main benefit of chinese cars is their low price.
GWM Deer pickups have no price competition at all!
But Chery - has! Flagcloud is a little cheaper than huyndai Accent and people prefer Accent as a reliable car.
First chinese cars in Russia was bad quality. And many people still afraid of its' quality. Many bad rumors.
There are some china-car-lovers clubs and internet forums where all the owners discuss their motivations of buying, tech info, modifying, problems, ...
There are many china cars in other cities - moslty Great Wall or ZX Admiral.
Russia is different. Near the Japanese border there only (near only) right-drived used japanese cars.
P.S. After I reach 10 post I'd give good pictures of russian offroad on chinese cars.
