Jiangbei Machinery of Jilin City in Jilin Province was established in 1986. It was PLA-owned until 2002 when Lingtian Motorcycle of Zhejiang Province, and others, bought it and changed the name to Tongtian. In addition to the Alto it produced a 1.8 Litre Subaru Rex-based sedan called Tiger JTT7180. Tongtian brought in German engineers and equipment to help it to build the Glow JTT7080/JTT7181 that you showed us here this week. In August 2004 a second generation 1.1 Litre Glow was introduced, the Glow Liangjing and Glow Meijing with panoramic sunroofs.
Last year, as I think you mentioned somewhere, Tongtian was acquired by Jiangnan.

I tried to include a photo of a Beilu minivan but it wouldn't upload because of size limits. (sorry I don't know how to make the file as small as required).
Beijing Beilu at West Rd 26, Dahong Men (Big Red Gate), Fengtai District, Beijing 10075, makes Isuzu-based minivans and a Rav 4 clone w/ Mitsubishi engine. Another is the Sports Car Color a compact SUV, for around ¥100,000. Investor is the Yonguan Group of Taizhou, Zhejiang.
Isuzu held a stake in Beilu from 1995 but sold it in 2000.
