From A South African point of view GWM arrived in this country just short of two years ago and has all reddy claimed a 7% maket share. Now if you compaire that to Toyota who has been going here for over 20 years who has a 20% share i thingk they are starting to make head way.
They started here with only the single cab pick ups and the the DBL cab pickups. now the Wringel and the Hover have hit and the public have gone mad. allthough the country is going through though times right now the sales are still there and that market share will climb befor the year end.
BUT the simelareties between GWM and the toyota, GW ISUZU are very much notcibel wich leaves the SA counsumer wondering is this not just a cheap knock off????
