Re: 2010 JAC Eagle SUV

Looks great! Is it just me or is it inspired by the Hyundai Santa Fe somewhat?
Oddly enough, the rear end reminds me of GWM Hover.
Re: 2010 JAC Eagle SUV

These are sketches for the concept as it was shown at the Beijing Auto Show in November 2006.
Re: 2010 JAC Eagle SUV

Some more pics of JAC Eagle

BTW, is this thing going into production?

Re: 2010 JAC Eagle SUV

well according to China car times, yes it is for 2010.
Re: 2010 JAC Eagle SUV

I am not quite fond of the rear lights, but the overall result looks good.
Re: 2010 JAC Eagle SUV

The rear end tailights will remind you of the Audi Q7 which is annoying..Hope that they'll change it..
Re: 2010 Jianghuai (JAC) BSUV

Cool car, one of the cutest SUVs from China
Re: 2010 Jianghuai (JAC) BSUV

Agreed, it's a very nice looking SUV design.
Re: 2010 Jianghuai (JAC) BSUV

Clone or look-alike?

Re: 2010 Jianghuai (JAC) BSUV

Clone, but I have one problem: introduction date iX35 is Frankfurt (September) 2009, introduction date JAC BSUV Beijing (April) 2006 (as JAC Eagle concept).
Can you explain?
Re: 2010 Jianghuai (JAC) BSUV

Then, it's Hyundai who copied JAC, not the other way around!:D

In all fairness, this looks nothing like the original Eagle concept:

Hopefully it will be banned from export markets. What a letdown after such impressive products like the Tongyue (Tojoy), Heyue and Heyue RS (Hojoy) and Refine Cheong.

Apparently it will come with a 1.5 TGDI (turbocharged gasoline direct injection) engine coupled with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Re: 2010 Jianghuai (JAC) BSUV

This should be banned from all export markets. What a pity, JAC had launched such great designs in the past years (the original Tojoy/Tongyue, Hojoy/Heyue, Hojoy/Heyue RS and Refine Cheong :(
I guess this is the successor of the Rein, based on the previous Hyundai Santa Fe?
Re: 2010 Jianghuai (JAC) BSUV

More pics, very orange

Engine is actually a 2.0L capable of 120 kw (161 hp). Two transmissions are available: 6-speed manual or 6-speed DCT.
