The last 15 years I drive regularly from France to the Netherlands. The distance is 1550 km, I drive it in about 14 hours. My personel record is 12h.10 min; but my friend has driven it in 11h.30min. Nowadays the problem is the speed limit control, since 4 years I live in France and have a French license plate, now I can't take the risk to drive a cruise speed of 160 km/h, in France I have to slow down to a maximum of 140 km/h.
LA to Seattle in one day. 1100+ miles, or about 1800 km. I left at 7am and got into Seattle around midnight. This is in a car with no cruise control and loud exhaust.
It sucked. I slept until 2 the next afternoon.
I made a test drive of a week with a QQ in China, in July 2006. The last day we drove from Jingdezhen to Beijing directly in one and a half day. The distance was 1629 km, we started in Jingdezhen at about 10 in the morning, we arrived in Beijing in the middle of the night. The whole trip was 3738 km, we visited Qufu, Huangshan and Jingdezhen.
