Re: Nanjing MG 7

MG7 with 1,8 litre engine now available with automatic transmissions also.

August 20, 2008 - MG have finally seen the light and decided to launch their automatic offering in the MG7 sedan. Previously, the MG7 was only available with manual transmission, which may have hampered sales in a marketplace where automatic transmissions are the norm.

The MG7 1.8 AT model will start from 180,000rmb, and dealers are currently accepting deposits on the vehicles.

Re: Nanjing MG 7

Thanks. Someone tries to make me believe that the MG7 for the european market should be a relabeled Roewe 750, because ne 75-like MG7 is not modern enough. I hardly believe this. Who can deny or confirm?

Re: Nanjing MG 7

I am expecting it to be a new MG based on the Roewe 550.

The Rover 75 entered the market place in Europe last century, of course it must be updated if it is to sell in large numbers.
