"Challenge Bibendum" will be held in Anting Auto City, of Shanghai, on the 15th and 16th of this month. That's Thursday and Friday of this week. Michelin holds this event in a different city of the world each year. Its purpose is to showcase ecologically sustainable vehicles. Chinese universities and research institutes have gotten involved in past years.
Last year, at Paris France, Tongji University entered the Super 3 which was a Santana 3000 sedan fitted with a hydrogen fuel cell driven powerplant.
It should be interesting to see who gets involved, and what they come up with this year.
What's this mean to you?
If China's government subsidizes more education about such green technology, after awhile you can look forward to traveling in a cleaner Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Beijing.
