Now the situation of MG Rover!!!!!

1.SAIC(shanghai automobile industry company) had purchased technology of Rover75 and 25 models as well as all the engine technology of MG Rover, but Rover45 technology was purchased by Honda which had cooperated with Rover before.

2.what's most important is that BMW group declared it had the all the brands ownership of MG and Rover. So neither SAIC or Nanjing auto group has no right to use the brands of MG or Rover if BMW hasn’t allowed.

3.Now you can thought how many Nanjing auto group got from MG Rover. In order to avoiding conflict of brands, Nanjing auto group may use “AUSTIN” as their brands…

4.Besides nanjing auto group had bought MG Rover engine factory and all the assets of the sub company “Powertrain”. Nanjing auto group have a great deficit over 40000,000 dollars in 2004.
