SAIC own about 43% of Ssangyong, but it makes them the largest shareholder and it's the controlling interest.
Ssangyongs have recently started to be sold in china.
Also there is a mercedes benz designed people carrier/ minibus which is built in korea by ssangyong (MB100?) and a company under SAIC called Huizhong are already assembling that in china.
Expect to see ssangyong vehicles or at least their technology being used in china built SAIC cars in near future.
