These scans are from a Febuary 2003 edition issue of Hot4s Australia I had lying around at home.

Im not sure if this deal is still gonna bring this engine to Chinese cars as we have not heard of anymore news regarding it however Mahindra is currently studying the technical and commercial viability of this engine design if put into widespread use.

Company overview...

REVETEC Limited is a world-class design engine company and developer of the “Controlled Combustion Engine” (CCE). The CCE is an internal combustion engine that is lighter, cleaner and more powerful than equivalent conventional engines, and cheaper to manufacture, due to fewer components.

Patented worldwide, REVETEC’s break-through design has a higher bottom-end mechanical advantage over equivalent conventional engine. This in turn lifts the overall engine efficiency up to 50% more, making the engine significantly more fuel-efficient than a conventional engine, with increased power/weight and torque/weight ratios.

The advantages of Revetec’s engine technology can be applied to most internal and external combustion engines for use in motor vehicles, trucks, buses, motorcycles, pumps and generators, light aircraft engines, diesel and marine engines. See “Licensing” for opportunities to access Revetec’s patented engine technology.

The technology sounds impressive, so if it proves both economical to produce, reliable in operation, and either meets or exceeds current engines in longevity, the Chinese manufactures could gain an advantage over the competition.
