Does anyone know what cars are available in Right Hand Drive from Chinese manufacturers?

Also any information on models which conform to EU standards on emmissions, NCAP etc would be grateful.

You can contact me off board at [email protected]

Thanks

Only RHD car I know of is the Shanghai-VW Polo Sedan 2003-2004, the Nanjing MGs & Roewe 750e will be RHD in future ;)
Don't Chinese manufacturers sell in Malaysia and Pakistan now (both, IIRC, RHD markets)?

It seems that an increasing number of manufacturers (especially Japanese) are building RHD cars in Thailand instead, quite a few of the smaller Japanese cars in the Aussie market are now built there. Could it be possible that the Chinese makers set up plants in RHD countries like Thailand for export to other RHD countries?
hafei has a rhd version of the lobo just launched in malaysia. look at the hafei thread. some pick-up & suv manufacturers have rhd versions-gonow, jiangling, & zxauto. i know because i inquired about their products by e-mail, & they assumed that i wanted rhd models.
Although the cars maybe available in RHD, often the RHD versions of the cars don't include all the features that the LHD version would have. I live in the UK, and for many cars, there are often features missing on the passenger side, sometimes even a glove box. Something to be aware of. By the way, has any of you who live in countries tried driving a LHD on the roads, especially through residential estates?
The RHD Hafei Lobo, The NAZA Sutera, is a fully developed RHD version with its own unique firewall, dashboard, meter combi etc.

It has euro II engine and has been crash tested at 48kph

there you go. that's a nice-looking car, alexz. do you have an idea of local prices & how it is positioned vs. japanese & korean models?
It is sold at about £5K in Malaysia. It is sold as a basic transport in the mould of daihatsu charade/mira and Hyundai Atos.
how was it received by the market? any comments in the press especially from the automotive press? any roadtest results from experts?

u looking for sad news then:D
not really. just curious to see how the real experts rate the car driving in their environment, & suspending judgment until i have fully examined the facts at hand. i strongly suggest you do the same.
The Naza Sutera was reviewed by Auto Express here

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/firstdrives/67526/naza_sutera.html

and it got a pretty good review. Apparently it'll be exported to the UK soon.

No mention in the article that it's a Hafei Lobo clone.
Dont think it would see market in europe soon. Apperently NAZA is targetting smaller markets with EuroII equivalent emissions standards as the cost of modifying it for the latest euro regulations is expensive. The first export market is Nepal with the 1st shipment this week.
