At the 2018 Jinan Spring EV Show, Chery Commercial Vehicle launched a new brand of LSEV, Ruitesi (瑞特思) with two models, Q1 and Q2, based on the old QQ3. A 550-km REEV version of the Q2 is on offer as well:
Ruitesi, the new brand from Chery Commercial, showed another small car Q3 which has, unlike the Q1 and Q2, an all-new design not borrowed from any previous Chery model. Specs are unknown but the article mentions a constant-speed range of 800 km with the help of a range extender. The car is slightly bigger than the Q1/Q2 (based on Chery QQ3) in size.
Ruitesi cars are making their way to dealers now. Interestingly, sales/delivery statistics show that 366 Chery Ruitesi units were shipped in July 2018. This is highly unusual because I do not seem to recall if LSEVs had ever been included among regular cars in the monthly sales releases.
