Test Drive EV or Series Hybrid in or near Shanghai, Beijing, or Xi'an?

Greetings from Chicago: A friend and I are EV enthusiasts. My friend is scheduled to take delivery of a Tesla next month, and I intend to purchase a mid-priced EV or series hybrid when one is available in the U.S. Next week, my friend will be in China. Is there anywhere in or near Beijing, Shanghai, or Xi'an where a non-Chinese national might test drive an EV or a series hybrid, e.g. a BYD F3DM?
