Tigers endangered and the Lantern Festival

Last night the moon was full and so the 15 days of the Spring Festival came to an end in the Lantern Festival. What a rich culture China has.

But China would be even richer if its wildlife laws better protected the beautiful tiger seen in this photo. There are only about 50 tigers* left in China today. What a pity. And what a shame to think that our offspring might someday be denied the beauty of seeing these awesome creatures in the wild.

dragin-thank you for this update. I just finished hugging my nearly 2 y/o Chow Chow Meggy May before reading this post. I consider her a gift from the Creator. Animals must be cherished and protected. We are to be good stewards of the earth and the animals.
