Vintage chinese cars and trucks

I read that the first chinese truck were made as far as 1927 by Shengyang Automobile Factory. Following the Japanese invasion, it became the Dowa Automobile Company, that also made automobile. In 1936, the Chinese
Automobile Company was buit-up by the Japanese. They made CKD Benz trucks.

Does anybody knows more about this? Or have heard about any other chinese manufacturer before WWII?
