Laofan, is that a model series of Hafei, made in Harbin? What vintage is it? It looks quite large compared to anything that Hafei turns out these days.

By the way can you tell us more about the manufacturer names "Jilin" and "Tianjin Dafa"? They don't exist today do they?
Thanks.

Yes Lada was sold in China in big quantities in the 1980s.
Jilin = nowadays FAW Jilin Automotive Corp. Ltd (FJA).
Tianjin-Dafa (Dafa is Daihatsu in Chinese) was later named Tianjin FAW Huali. The factory was recently sold to Tianjin FAW Xiali.
Songhuajiang is an earlier name for the Hafei products. I estimate this car (the same size as the other Suzuki and Honda models) early 1990s.

Severe crap regulations in the 1980s and even in the 1990s (no car older than 15 years was allowed in the streets) have them all send to the scrapyards.
the same happened here in chile...lada was banned from here because the range doesn't have the minimal requiremets on safety and emissions...but they're extremely cheaper (the most cheaper was rounding the CLP$1.000.000, US$ 2000
