Austin needs to be handled very carefully. It needs a car that can be a winner, a bit like the VW Skoda's were winners. The brand is well known but needs rebuilding. Airfixing it onto cheap old Chinese made cars will do more harm than good. It might work in places like India where products like the above would be acceptable and whre the Austin brand is known but not in Europe. The first Austin from Nanjing for the west needs to be reliable and well designed (especially if as rumoured one model is made in the UK)...chabbu said:Soyat (the Nanjing brand I theorized about being rebadged as Austin) trucks are now sold in the UK! Even though this is being done independently (by some concern called "Charlesworths") I wonder if NAC-MG/Austin wiil become involved somehow. Any thoughts?
