Zhongxing (ZX Auto) relaunched the Changfeng Acumen under their own marque. Apparently Zhongxing bought the license and toolings from GAC Changfeng.

So possibly Zhongxing will not only make pick ups and SUV's but also passenger cars, right? Acuman is around there for so many time, wonder if it will really be produced.

*according to statistics kindly shared by Erik, more than 600 Acuman were produced by Changfeng in 2011.

According to the China Daily of July 8,2013, GAC had acquired the Acumen CP2 from Changfeng, and then transferred it to its then JV partner, Zhongxing.
The joint venture plan to produce the Acumen, in Yichang,Hubei Province, never endured. And, after dumping partner Zhongxing in 2017 ( like it had previous partners Changfeng, and Gonow), GAC took over the Yichang plant.
