Slightly bigger SUV based on Huansu S3. Wheelbase is up by 15 mm to 2700 mm, length by 140 mm to 4520 mm, wider by 60 mm.

The S5, S3X, and yet to be launched S4 were part of the same product development program; at least that is what I have read in a few Chinese forum posts. I believe the S3X is more closely related to the S5 than to the other older Huansu SUVs that were developed in continuity (i.e. S2, S3, S3L). However, since there is no official communication from BAIC (or any product development diagrams, etc. published), one cannot be absolutely sure.

So the S3X is an all new version or completely separate?

Looks like it will be a separate model, but let's see.
