Jiangsu Tianmei Automobile Co., Ltd., established in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, in November 2019 is a 100% subsidiary of Skywell New Energy Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (which owns 88% of Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd.).
Skywell Auto Group was founded at the end of 2010 by Huang Hongsheng (alias Stephen Wong Wang-sang), the founder and major shareholder of electronic goods manufacturer Skyworth Group based in Shenzhen. Huang Hongsheng had to give up operational/managerial control of Skyworth Digital Holdings following corruption charges and imprisonment in the 2000s (source). Skywell Auto Group is his second major venture, starting with the acquisition of Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus in 2011.
